This information was announced by Asanbek Mamyrayimov, head of the regional department for the Osh region of the Service for Environmental and Technical Control under the Ministry of Natural Resources, Ecology, and Technical Supervision.
On October 29, in the territory of the Jarkorgon rural district of Kurmanjan Datka, it was recorded that various types of waste were being dumped along the roads in prohibited places. As a result, the rural administration was fined 23,000 soms under paragraph 2 of Article 115 of the Code of the KR on Offenses.
In addition, at the landfill of the municipal waste collection enterprise in the Gulcha rural district, disorganized waste placement and its ignition were discovered. For this violation, a fine of 23,000 soms was also imposed in accordance with paragraph 3 of Article 115 of the Code of the KR on Offenses, as noted by Mamyrayimov.
He added that the heads of the rural administrations were given 15 days to address the identified issues. They were also instructed to conduct explanatory work among the population regarding compliance with environmental safety rules.
“The Service for Environmental and Technical Control strongly urges both citizens and local authorities to strictly adhere to legislative norms aimed at protecting the environment,” emphasized Mamyrayimov.
