It is worth reminding that the Bishkek city administration has announced public hearings, which will take place on December 24-25, 2025, and will be organized by districts.
The city's general plan is a long-term strategic document that defines priorities in urban planning, transportation, economic, and social spheres until 2050.
The draft general plan was developed by the Research Institute of Prospective Urban Development of St. Petersburg in collaboration with the Bishkek city administration and at the request of the government of the Kyrgyz Republic.
The general plan includes measures for modernizing transportation infrastructure, developing logistics chains, IT and creative industries, as well as preserving historical and cultural heritage and creating a comfortable urban environment.
