This law clarifies how documents related to offenses should be delivered and sent. Now, official definitions, protocols, resolutions, and orders can be sent through the state electronic services portal and mobile application, as well as in electronic form.
The document will be considered delivered at the moment of its personal handover to the person involved in the case or to an adult family member. For additional notification, electronic documents may be sent to email or via SMS; however, such messages will not be considered official delivery.
The Cabinet of Ministers has been instructed to approve the procedure for delivering electronic documents and informing through alternative communication channels. They have six months to adapt their decisions to the new legislation.
