From October 31 to November 3, in the village of Kara-Zhyjach, employees of the Regional Department for Bishkek and the Alamudun District of the Ecological Supervision Service conducted an unscheduled inspection of enterprises engaged in sand and gravel extraction.

According to information provided by the Ecological Supervision Service, the inspection was initiated based on complaints from local residents.

As a result of the inspection, three companies: LLC "JK D", LLC "A", and LLC "A P" were fined a total of 308,000 soms. The fines were imposed in accordance with several articles of the Code of Offenses, including 209 (evasion of environmental expertise), 211 (violation of the operation of environmental protection facilities), and 245 (exceeding limits on the use of natural resources).

Additionally, during the inspection, cases of discharging contaminated wastewater were discovered, leading to an additional fine of 112,000 soms under Article 236 of the Code of Offenses (violation of water protection requirements against pollution).

In connection with the identified violations, the discharge of wastewater at the enterprises was temporarily suspended until the installation of treatment facilities and the implementation of measures for wastewater treatment.
