According to the information from the Embassy of the Russian Federation in Bishkek, a new batch of food aid has been delivered to the southern regions of Kyrgyzstan. In particular, 121.44 tons of sunflower oil have arrived in the city of Osh.

This aid will be distributed among needy families with the participation of representatives from the United Nations World Food Programme and local authorities.

It is important to note that Russia holds the position of the largest donor to the UN WFP in Kyrgyzstan. For the past 15 years, the government of Russia and the World Food Programme have been providing support to the country's population, covering various aspects—from emergency assistance and recovery to development, including initiatives such as the national school feeding program.
