According to the press service of the Main Internal Affairs Directorate (GUVD) of the capital, the raid involved employees of the Criminal Investigation Department and district internal affairs departments.
During the operation, 41 women engaged in immoral activities were detained. Necessary investigative and preventive procedures were carried out regarding them.
Additionally, 26 hotels and 12 saunas were inspected. All administrators and owners of these establishments were summoned to the Investigative Service of the GUVD of Bishkek, where explanatory conversations were held with them, and written commitments to comply with the law were obtained.
As a result of the raid, administrative protocols were drawn up against 12 women providing intimate services under Article 126 (Petty Hooliganism) of the Code of Offenses.
The police are appealing to citizens to report any facts of brothels and individuals engaged in prostitution.
