This year is significant for the internal affairs bodies of Kyrgyzstan, as they celebrate their 101st anniversary.
Azamat Toktonaliev, the chief of police of the capital, congratulated his colleagues on their professional holiday and presented awards to those who distinguished themselves the most. By order of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, several police officers received special ranks ahead of schedule.
During the event, veterans of law enforcement agencies were also honored, and a tour of the new building of the Main Internal Affairs Department in Bishkek was organized for them.
