Since November 7, employees of the Service for Combating Extremism and Illegal Migration of the Main Internal Affairs Directorate of Bishkek began checking the market area to identify foreign citizens who are in Kyrgyzstan illegally and working at this market. As a result of the raid, more than 120 foreigners were taken to the police.
Following the inspection:
- 23 foreign citizens were held accountable under Article 431 ("Violation of the procedure for staying in the territory of the Kyrgyz Republic") of the Code of Offenses of the Kyrgyz Republic;
- 2 citizens of Kyrgyzstan were issued protocols under Article 93 ("Violation of the rules for attracting and using foreign labor in the Kyrgyz Republic") of the Code of Offenses of the Kyrgyz Republic.
All collected materials were sent to the relevant authorities for further investigation.
