From October 13 to 22, the second round of the operation "Illegal-2025" took place in the Moscow region, dedicated to combating illegal migration and identifying offenses in this area.
According to Tatyana Petrova, head of the information and public relations department of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Moscow Region, more than 4,300 decisions were made to expel foreign citizens from Russia.
The overall results of both phases of the operation show that over 15,700 offenses were suppressed, with more than 10,000 protocols drawn up for violations of migration regulations and over 2,100 for illegal employment.
Employers who illegally employed foreign citizens received more than 1,600 administrative protocols.
In addition, law enforcement agencies opened 748 criminal cases related to migration crimes, including:
6 - for fictitious registration of citizens;
430 - for fictitious registration of foreigners or stateless persons;
235 - for document forgery;
77 - for organizing illegal migration;
6 - for fictitious registration of citizens;
430 - for fictitious registration of foreigners or stateless persons;
235 - for document forgery.
Additionally, 29 criminal cases were initiated for crimes related to illegal drug trafficking, and 24 cases for other crimes committed by foreign citizens.
