Usenov reported that in the first nine months of the current year, 4 tons and 725 kilograms of drugs and precursors were seized. Of this amount, 798 kilograms are synthetic drugs.
“This is the largest quantity of synthetic drugs seized over the entire period,” he emphasized, adding that in 2024, the figure was only 34 kilograms.
According to him, synthetic drugs are becoming increasingly widespread on a global level. In particular, in 2025, 5 laboratories for their production were discovered, 4 of which are located in the Chui region and 1 in Osh. “Houses are rented in the Chui region for the synthesis of psychoactive substances, and precursors for their production are also brought there,” Usenov noted.
