
During the first nine months of this year, 4,843 minors were identified in Kyrgyzstan as being in difficult life situations. This was reported by the Ministry of Labor, Social Security, and Migration of the Kyrgyz Republic.
According to the department's data, individual protection plans were developed for 2,514 children, and 2,488 of them were able to be removed from difficult circumstances.
In addition, the need for assistance was identified for 1,277 families, of which 947 were able to overcome the crisis thanks to social support, document processing, or training.
The Ministry also emphasizes the importance of preventing child abuse. "During this time, 444 children from at-risk groups became victims of various forms of violence, and all of them received the necessary social and psychological support," the press release states.
