In 9 months, about 57 thousand cases for the collection of alimony have been initiated

In the first nine months of 2025, 56,930 enforcement proceedings for the collection of alimony were initiated in Kyrgyzstan. This was reported on October 28 by Kubanychbek Kapalov, Deputy Head of the Enforcement Service under the General Prosecutor's Office, on the air of "Birinchi Radio."
Of the total number of cases related to alimony, approximately 300 involve women debtors. As of the current fourth quarter of 2025, there are 45,708 enforcement proceedings related to alimony obligations in progress.
Kapalov also noted that there are about 100 enforcement proceedings registered in the republic related to the refusal to support parents. Additionally, around 500 cases of non-fulfillment of alimony obligations for minor children have been initiated against employees of state and municipal bodies.
