The hotline for children of the Ministry of Labor of the Kyrgyz Republic receives more than 190 calls a day

In the nine months of 2025, the "Child Helpline" center, operating under the Ministry of Labor, Social Protection, and Migration, recorded 53,871 calls. This averages to 1,897 calls daily and 5,985 calls monthly, as reported by the agency's press service.

Of the total number of inquiries, 2,095 people sought consultations and assistance: 869 of them (41.5 percent) were children, while 1,226 (58.5 percent) were adults.

Specialists provided consultations and recommendations for 1,498 inquiries, 421 callers received psychological support, and 176 calls, depending on their content, were referred to the relevant territorial divisions of government agencies and other institutions for further response.

Analysis of calls by gender and age shows that among the callers, men accounted for 326 (15.6 percent), women for 900 (42.9 percent), boys for 245 (11.7 percent), and girls for 624 (29.8 percent).

The helpline with the short number 111 operates around the clock, accepting free calls from across the country, and provides support to both children and adults in difficult life situations.
