In Osh, 4 citizens fined for violating hunting rules

In the Nookat district, on the territory of Chili-Sai, four individuals were detained for violating hunting laws, reports the press service of the Ministry of Natural Resources, Ecology, and Technical Supervision.

Inspectors from the Osh Regional Department of the Ecological Supervision Service, together with a gamekeeper from the Biodiversity Department and representatives from the NABU organization, discovered the violators during raid activities.

Due to the offenses, the detainees were fined amounts ranging from 12,500 to 50,000 soms in accordance with part 263 of the Code of Offenses, as stated in the ministry's press release.

Additionally, for the illegal hunting of eight partridges, a claim was filed against the detainees for 16,000 soms. Other hunters were given explanatory talks about hunting rules and wildlife protection.

The ministry's press service also reported that in Osh, in the territory of Suröttü-Tash, a citizen was detained for dumping and burning garbage in a prohibited area. He was fined 7,500 soms.
