The incident took place on October 19 in the Koshzavod area, where a group of young people, threatening with knives, stole mobile phones from passersby.
This case was registered under Article 207 of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic, concerning robbery.
Employees of the Main Internal Affairs Directorate of Bishkek were able to detain the suspects immediately after the incident. The group included J.B., born in 2007, A.D., born in 2009, I.O., born in 2007, and T.M., also born in 2007. All of them were placed in a temporary detention facility.
During a search, two knives and a phone belonging to one of the victims of the attack were found with one of the detainees.
During the investigation, it was revealed that the detainees may be involved in other crimes. Investigative actions are ongoing.
