Residents of Sokuluk District Have Been Losing Cows at Night

The press service of the Main Internal Affairs Directorate of the Chui Region reported the detention of suspects in cattle theft on November 8.

Complaints to the police were received from residents of the Sokuluk district. One of them, living in the village of Tuz, stated that two cows were stolen from his barn on the night of October 26. A resident of the Frunze State Farm also reported the theft of one cow, which occurred on the night of October 30.

The thefts were registered under Article 205-1 of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic, which pertains to cattle theft.

Law enforcement agencies detained two suspects: M.A., born in 2000, and T.A., born in 2002. They were placed in a temporary detention facility.

During the investigation, it was revealed that the stolen livestock had already been sold. Currently, the police are searching for the buyers of the stolen cows.

Law enforcement officials do not rule out that the detainees may be involved in other crimes as well. In this regard, they appeal to anyone who has become a victim of the suspects' actions or has any information to contact the following numbers: 0 (312) 60-75-67 and 0 (702) 75-95-35.
