A group of serial cattle thieves has been detained in the Chuy region.

A resident of the village of Tuz, K.D., born in 1965, reported to the Sokuluk District Internal Affairs Department about a theft. He stated that on the night of October 25 to 26, two unknown individuals stole two cows from his barn and fled the scene. The press service of the Main Internal Affairs Directorate of the Chui Region reported this incident.
On the following day, T.M., born in 1984, a resident of the Frunze state farm, also approached the Internal Affairs Department with a similar statement. He reported that on the night of October 30, a cow was also stolen from his yard.
Both incidents were registered, and criminal cases were initiated under Article 205-1 "Cattle Rustling" of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.
During operational activities, police officers were able to identify the suspects — young men M.A. (born in 2000) and T.A. (born in 2002). They were detained in accordance with Article 96 of the Criminal Procedure Code and placed in a temporary detention facility.
The investigation revealed that the stolen cows had been sold to third parties. Currently, law enforcement agencies are continuing their work to identify the buyers of the stolen livestock. The possible involvement of the detainees in other similar crimes in the region is also being investigated.
