“President Sadyr Japarov, in order to expedite the fulfillment of tasks, conveys general instructions and directives to heads of government services via WhatsApp. Today he expressed the following instruction to general directors regarding electricity conservation. I found it necessary to share this on my page. The text remains unchanged:
“Dear leaders!
Adylbek Alekseevich, ministers, representatives of regions, general directors!
You may have misunderstood the task of conserving electricity. It is not appropriate to interfere in the affairs of private individuals and small businesses. Your actions only fuel the excitement among the people.
I do not rule out that there may be forces among you seeking to destabilize the situation ahead of the elections. Such forces are actively operating on the streets. You are adding fuel to their fire.
The main goal of the instruction is to turn off electricity in all government institutions after 6:00 PM, starting from the ayil okmotu and ending with Intymak-Ordo.
Turning off equipment and lighting after working hours should not be difficult. Moreover, the lights in the corridors often remain on unnecessarily, and in offices, some employees work with the lights on even during the day!
I ask you to monitor this process. Let’s start saving electricity with ourselves!
Every leader is obliged to check the subordinate institutions and enterprises, as well as to control their work. This is especially true for schools and educational institutions, which do not always keep track of conservation.
Representatives of the regions should monitor the work of the akims, akims should oversee the ayil okmotu, and the ayil okmotu should supervise the schools and kindergartens in their territory, controlling their activities daily! We know that if the lights are on in government buildings, they are not functioning properly.
Leaders who do not fulfill their duties will be held accountable.
Let’s be more economical in government institutions and enterprises, as well as in “Intymak-Ordo” itself!
