Kamchybek Tashiev once again emphasized that there are no plans for rolling blackouts in the country. Nevertheless, he urged citizens to use electricity sparingly.

“In Kyrgyzstan, rolling blackouts will not be conducted. Electricity will not be turned off across the republic, as we have sufficient resources. But it is important to remember the need for conservation. This is what the president, the minister, and I myself are saying. Let’s consume electricity more wisely. Despite the lack of water and reduced electricity production, we will ensure that the population is supplied. There is no need to worry. Provocateurs are using this topic and posting videos about outages online, even if they are related to repairs. I emphasize: there will be no rolling blackouts, where electricity supply is limited according to a schedule,” he noted.

It should be added that this year, despite the absence of rolling blackouts, the population is facing a shortage of electricity. New power limits have been introduced - up to 3 kW, and residents have to choose between turning on the washing machine and the electric kettle. Additionally, after 6:00 PM, outdoor lighting in government and administrative institutions is prohibited.
