At a recent meeting with the residents of Balykchy, Kamchybek Tashiev summarized the results of the fight against organized crime in Kyrgyzstan.

He noted that organized crime, which had spread across all regions of the country, was the main obstacle to its development. Tashiev emphasized: "These structures had effectively become a second power; they had a well-established system." According to him, the work done to eliminate organized criminal groups has borne fruit, and it can now be confidently stated: "Organized crime no longer exists in Kyrgyzstan and will never appear again." He added that "watchers," "blacks," and "appointed ones" have become a thing of the past.

The situation was particularly serious in the Issyk-Kul region, which is famous for its tourist attractions and attracts investors. Tashiev reported that criminal groups were gathering around these sites, with numbers reaching up to one hundred or even a thousand members.

Although Tashiev does not claim that crime in Kyrgyzstan has been completely eradicated, he is confident that organized crime has been destroyed. He assured that any remaining elements of organized criminal groups that may attempt to restore their positions will also be eliminated. "Our businessmen can safely conduct their business without fearing for their safety," he concluded.
