As part of the improvement of the urban infrastructure in Balykchy, 500 million soms will be allocated from the President's Stabilization Fund. This was announced by Kamchybek Tashiev, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers and head of the State Committee for National Security of the Kyrgyz Republic, during his visit to the Issyk-Kul region.
Tashiev noted that these funds will be used for the modernization of the road network, communal and social facilities, as well as for the improvement of public areas. He added: “Balykchy is the gateway to Issyk-Kul and a tourist center that should serve as an example of cleanliness and order. Supporting its development is one of our key tasks.”
In addition, new equipment worth 100 million soms has been purchased for the city’s communal services, which includes street cleaning machines, garbage trucks, and specialized vehicles for washing and watering.
