Today, October 30, the ceremonial commissioning of the upgraded wastewater treatment station No. 2, owned by the municipal enterprise "Manas Vodokanal" in the city of Manas, took place.

Turmush correspondent reports the details of the event.

The ceremony was attended by the Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers and head of the State Committee for National Security, Kamchybek Tashiev, the mayor of Manas, Ernisbek Ormokov, the speaker of the city council, Nurtilek Bolotov, as well as employees of "Manas Vodokanal".

The upgrade of the station cost 5 million 489 thousand 430 euros. These funds were allocated by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD).



During the reconstruction, the administrative and utility building was completely updated, and structures for mechanical and biological treatment were built, including two secondary vertical clarifiers.

Additionally, air ducts and hydrolysis equipment were installed on the site, and a new main pumping station was constructed.

Previously, station No. 2 could process up to 8 thousand cubic meters of wastewater per day, while after the reconstruction, this figure increased to 20 thousand cubic meters.
