Tashiev handed over medical equipment to the Mother and Child Protection Center worth 35 million soms

The Deputy Prime Minister and Head of the State Committee for National Security, Kamchybek Tashiev, once again visited the National Center for the Protection of Motherhood and Childhood, as reported by the committee's press service.

During the visit, six sets of medical equipment were handed over to the Center, including an endoscopic ultrasound machine and ultrasound devices. These funds were allocated from the stabilization fund of the President of Kyrgyzstan and amounted to 35 million 100 thousand soms.

Tashiev also announced that plans are in place to acquire additional medical equipment that the center needs in the near future.

According to information from the State Committee for National Security, the doctors at the institution expressed a request for the construction of a parking lot for 180 vehicles (an area of 4,400 sq. m) and the provision of one service vehicle. Tashiev assured that the parking lot would be equipped with all necessary amenities for patients and staff, and that 10 service vehicles would be provided for various departments.

The head of the State Committee for National Security emphasized that active development of the healthcare system continues in Kyrgyzstan: new hospitals are being built, existing medical facilities are being modernized, and conditions for patients and staff are being improved. He also noted that there are plans to increase the salaries of medical staff.
