Deputy Prime Minister and Head of the State Committee for National Security, Kamchybek Tashiev, recently visited the National Center for Maternal and Child Health, which is managed by the Ministry of Health of the Kyrgyz Republic.
According to information provided by the State Committee for National Security, during his visit, Tashiev handed over six sets of modern medical equipment to the doctors, including an endoscopic ultrasound machine and several ultrasound devices. The total cost of this equipment amounted to 35 million 100 thousand soms, which were allocated from the Stabilization Fund of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic.
Kamchybek Tashiev noted that this delivery was initiated at the request of the doctors during his previous visit. He also added that in the near future, additional medical devices are planned to be purchased for the Center.
The medical staff of the center expressed their gratitude to Tashiev for the support provided and voiced a request for the construction of a parking lot for 180 cars covering an area of 4,400 square meters, as well as for the allocation of a service vehicle for the doctors.
In response, Tashiev promised not only to build a modern parking lot with amenities for patients and staff but also to provide ten service vehicles for various departments of the Center, instead of one as requested.
He emphasized that systematic work continues in Kyrgyzstan to improve healthcare: new medical institutions are being built, existing ones are being modernized, and comfortable conditions are being created for patients and medical staff. There are also plans for a significant increase in salaries for medical workers in the future.
At the end of the visit, the staff of the Center expressed their sincere gratitude for the attention and support provided to the healthcare sector.
