We remind you that on November 5, the country's government adopted a resolution regarding measures to reduce the electricity deficit. In this regard, new energy-saving rules are also being introduced in schools.
The Ministry clarified that the electricity shutdown should occur no later than 60 minutes after all classes have finished, taking into account the time needed for cleaning the premises. This restriction does not apply to engineering systems and equipment necessary for maintaining the operation and preservation of buildings, nor does it extend to institutions where students reside, including dormitories.
Earlier in Bishkek, parents of schoolchildren expressed dissatisfaction due to the cancellation of evening classes in schools as a result of the introduced restrictions.
Additionally, it is worth noting that the government has already implemented restrictions on the use of outdoor lighting in government and administrative buildings after 6:00 PM.
