Residents of the village of Kyzyl-Kiya (Sovetskoye), located in the Ak-Suu district of the Issyk-Kul region, are protesting against the movement of trucks that deliver sand for the construction of a road to the "Ala-Too Resort." This was reported by readers of the publication Kaktus.media.

According to them, the road surface is in a deplorable state. Due to the lack of watering, dust and mud from passing vehicles accumulate on the road.

“We can’t breathe. How can we live in such conditions? It would be desirable for the Ministry of Transport to pay attention to this problem,” local residents share their concerns.

In response, the Ministry of Transport and Communications clarified to Kaktus.media that the watering of the road surface at the construction site of the Karakol - Enilchek highway leading to "Ala-Too Resort" is being carried out according to schedule. Watering is done periodically as part of the planned work.

“Construction work on this road is being conducted in accordance with the approved design and estimate documentation and relevant regulatory requirements. It should be noted that due to changing weather conditions and the onset of snowfall, the execution of certain types of work has been temporarily suspended. However, work on the widening and excavation of the road continues as usual,” the ministry added.
