One city dweller shared: "To get to work, I had to jump on the sidewalks to avoid puddles. Why aren’t the municipal services responding to the dirt and slush?"
Additionally, there have been complaints about puddles at pedestrian crossings that are impossible to navigate without risk.
What will happen when the temperature drops at night and all this slush turns to ice?Starting at 5:00 AM, workers from the municipal enterprise "Tazalyk" began snow removal. This information was announced at the city hall.
Special vehicles are engaged in spreading inert materials and clearing snow from the roads. Throughout the morning, 38.5 tons of salt and sand-salt mixture were used to prevent ice formation and ensure safety on the roads.
The spreading is taking place on key streets of the city:
- Kozhobergenova;
- Semetey;
- Baytik Baatyra;
- Sheralieva;
- Masalieva;
- Jaiyla Baatyra;
- Chortekova;
- Alykulova;
- Chingiz Aitmatov Avenue;
- Tagai Biya;
- Tolstogo;
- Sadygalieva;
- Jamgerchinova;
- Tokombaev;
- April 7;
- as well as on the overpasses of Baytik Baatyra, Ibraimov, April 7, the bridge on Elebesov Street, and in the residential area "Kok-Djar".
