Local residents have repeatedly expressed their dissatisfaction by leaving complaints on various online platforms.
According to information from the city hall's press service, the current focus is on improving road safety for students.
“The Naryn City Security Department will now monitor the safety of children near schools according to a set schedule, ensuring safe crossings twice a day. The security service has also been tasked with installing panic buttons in educational institutions,” the statement notes.
Due to the ongoing road repair work and the shortage of road signs, parents are advised to explain to their children the importance of crossing the road only at designated places and to be vigilant.
Work is also underway to install new road signs and organize nighttime lighting on the main street of the city,” the city hall adds.
