According to law enforcement information, on October 30 at 15:50, on the 78th kilometer of the Osh – Sary-Tash – Irkeshtam road, in the village of Zhylyu-Suu, a passenger car Audi 80 driven by 68-year-old R. K. collided with a truck JIEFANG.
Preliminary data suggests that the driver's heart stopped while driving. As a result of the accident, he and three of his passengers - Ch. A., Ch. G., and R. E. - died at the scene, while another passenger, G. T., passed away in the intensive care unit. Among the victims were a mother, daughter, son-in-law, and a relative of the driver.
On the following morning, November 1, around 01:20, another tragic road accident occurred at the 67th kilometer of the highway, near the village of Tash-Koroo. On this mountainous section of the Chiyyrchyk pass, a HOWO truck heading to Gulcho veered into the oncoming lane and collided with a Tesla Model 3, which was traveling towards Osh.
According to the police, the truck driver was a 24-year-old resident of the Uzgen district. As a result of this collision, both drivers and four passengers of the Tesla, all men aged 33 and residents of the village of Ken-Zhilga, died at the scene. It is reported that they were relatives of the first group of victims and were returning from a funeral.
The truck driver and his passenger survived. They reported that they were transporting coal from the village of Bakmal towards Gulcho when the truck's brakes failed, leading to the collision with the passenger car.
