Preliminary reports indicate that the incident took place around 8:10 at the intersection of I. Saidov and R. Abdykadyrov streets. The truck driver lost control. First, he collided with a "Hyundai Sonata," then hit another vehicle, after which he veered off the road and fell into a canal.
According to information from the patrol police, the truck driver was in a state of alcohol intoxication, which was confirmed during a check by the narcological service.
As a result of the accident, the driver of the "Hyundai Sonata" was injured and taken to the hospital. An investigation into the circumstances of the accident is currently underway.
