He noted: "The President said at that time: 'You supported me so that I would work honestly and strengthen legality. Now I am fulfilling this. And I ask you not to violate the law and not to harm the state for personal gain'."
Orunbekov emphasized that many of those who supported the president received positions corresponding to their qualifications and experience and continue their work. At the same time, those who failed to fulfill their duties or were involved in illegal activities were dismissed.
He added: "Some believed that their support for the president gave them the right to impunity. However, such individuals have already faced punishment, including a close relative of the president, who was held accountable for illegal actions."
In response to comments that Taichabarov had previously supported Sadyr Japarov, Orunbekov noted:
"Support given in the past does not exempt one from responsibility. Those who sincerely supported continue to work calmly. If someone breaks the law, they will be held accountable just like everyone else."
Recently, the Ministry of Internal Affairs detained Kudret Taichabarov on suspicion of possible connections with organized crime groups. He was taken to investigative authorities for further action, and the investigation is ongoing.
Previously, Taichabarov had expressed his intention to participate in the parliamentary elections. However, after a photograph of him with Kamchy Kolbaev surfaced online, the Central Election Commission denied him registration as a candidate.
