Masaliev noted: "This heart attack was a warning for me, and although I feel good now thanks to the doctors at the 'Bikard' clinic, I need to step back from active political life for a while."
He also reminded that he was elected twice as a deputy of local keneshes (in Alamedin and Osh) and served five times as a deputy of the Jogorku Kenesh. The politician emphasized that he always tried to act honestly, supporting the right decisions and opposing those he considered wrong. In his message, he expressed hope not to dishonor the legacy of his father, Hero of Kyrgyzstan Absamat Masaliev.
