The Central Election Commission of Kyrgyzstan has denied registration to Kudret Maripovich Taichabarov, who announced his candidacy for the Jogorku Kenesh deputies from the multi-mandate electoral district No. 19.
Taichabarov submitted his application to participate in the elections as a self-nominee on October 27, 2025. His candidacy was reviewed at a meeting of the Working Group on November 6, where he was invited to present his case.
At the Working Group meeting, it was determined that the candidate did not meet the requirements established by law. Based on this, it was proposed to deny him registration with the CEC of the Kyrgyz Republic.
According to information provided by the Main Department of Criminal Investigation of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic on November 5, 2025, as well as the results of checks conducted on November 3, Taichabarov confirmed on November 4 that he was depicted in a photograph taken in 2021 at the café-bar "Blonder Pub" in Bishkek, where he was in the company of the notorious leader of an organized crime group, Kamchy Asanbek (Kamchy Kolbaev).
The document from the Ministry of Internal Affairs states that Taichabarov had close ties with Kamchy Asanbek, which led to his being placed on operational record as a person associated with an organized crime group.
According to part 11 of Article 61 of the Constitutional Law of the Kyrgyz Republic "On the Elections of the President and Deputies of the Jogorku Kenesh of the Kyrgyz Republic," if a candidate is or has been registered as associated with an organized crime group or criminal community, this is grounds for denial of registration.
Considering all of the above, and referring to the relevant articles of the Constitutional Law, the Central Election Commission of Kyrgyzstan decided to deny Kudret Maripovich Taichabarov registration of his candidacy for the elections to the Jogorku Kenesh deputies from the multi-mandate electoral district No. 19, as stated in the official press release of the CEC.
