Amangaziev submitted his application to participate in the elections on October 22.
As a result of the work of the expert group, it was determined that he does not meet the requirements established by law for candidates for deputies of the Jogorku Kenesh, which led to a recommendation to deny him registration.
As indicated in the report from the Main Department of Criminal Investigation of the Ministry of Internal Affairs dated October 30, 2025, in a photograph taken on January 9, 1989, Amangaziev was captured alongside the well-known criminal authority Kamchy Asanbek. To verify this information, a report was registered at the Issyk-Ata District Department of Internal Affairs, and he was summoned for questioning by the investigative service. During the questioning, Amangaziev confirmed his presence in the photo with Kamchy Asanbek,” representatives of the CEC reported.
Although Amangaziev was invited to the meeting of the working group on November 2, he decided not to participate.
According to part 11 of article 61 of the constitutional law "On the elections of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic and deputies of the Jogorku Kenesh of the Kyrgyz Republic," the basis for refusing to register a candidate is the fact that the person is or has been registered as being associated with an organized criminal group or criminal community.
