As of now, 7 candidates have been registered in constituency No. 17 out of 18 applications submitted as of October 29. This constituency has 149,072 voters, covering parts of the Talas and Jayil districts, as well as the city of Kara-Balta.
The boundaries of the constituency encompass the following territorial units: fully Besh-Tash, Kara-Kol, Ken-Kol, Shumkar-Uya, and Chon-Alysh rural districts of the Talas region; the city of Kayindy, as well as all rural districts of the Panfilov region, including Kuramin, Kurpuldok, Frunze, and Orto-Kayindy. The constituency also includes the Jayil, Sary-Koos, Suusamyr, and Taldy-Bulak rural districts, as well as the entire city of Kara-Balta.
