This law was approved by the Jogorku Kenesh on September 24, 2025.
The main objective of the new legislation is to improve the qualifications of military medical specialists and their skills in working with modern medical technologies.
Amendments to the law "On the Status of Military Personnel" allow, under certain conditions, military personnel (except for those undergoing conscription) to obtain permission from commanders of military units or heads of institutions to work part-time in state and municipal medical organizations. This decision is aimed at enhancing qualifications and exchanging experiences, as reported by the President's Administration.
