Delegates from CSTO member states discussed current challenges in information security and strategies for protection against them.
Participants noted a sharp increase in the number of attacks utilizing supply chains and contractors, as well as the active involvement of various organizations and structures in these actions.
Particular concern was raised regarding threats associated with the leakage of large volumes of personal data of individuals and legal entities, as well as attacks carried out through trusted external channels, which contribute to the occurrence of computer incidents.
There was also an exchange of views on modern threats, as well as discussions on the issues of timely informing owners of vulnerable resources about critical software vulnerabilities and responses to them.
At the meeting, appreciation was expressed to the Kyrgyz representative for the successful organization of the first CSTO International Conference on Cybersecurity, which took place in June of this year.
