During the meeting, participants reviewed the conclusion of the Commission on the Analysis and Optimization of the Structure of the Judicial System and the Number of Judges, dated October 31, 2025. After the discussion, the Council of Judges decided to send the relevant recommendations to the Chairman of the Supreme Court for further coordination.
According to the amendments to the Constitutional Law "On the Supreme Court of the Kyrgyz Republic and Local Courts," the number of judges of the Supreme Court, as well as issues related to the establishment, reorganization, and liquidation of local courts, are determined by the President of the Kyrgyz Republic based on proposals from the Council of Judges, coordinated with the Chairman of the Supreme Court.
