The event took place in Tashkent
On October 28, the 46th meeting of the Intergovernmental Council on Cooperation in the Construction Sector among CIS countries was held in Tashkent. Kyrgyzstan was represented by a delegation headed by the Minister of Construction, Architecture, and Housing and Communal Services, Nurdana Oruntaev.
In his speech, the minister noted that the construction sector of Kyrgyzstan is demonstrating steady growth and plays a key role in the country's economy. The main priorities of state policy include providing citizens with affordable and quality housing, digitizing urban planning processes, as well as implementing energy-efficient solutions and principles of "green" construction.
“The future of our construction industry is linked to digital technologies, energy efficiency, and international partnership. Kyrgyzstan is ready to actively participate in these areas and contribute to the creation of a unified construction space within the CIS,” emphasized Nurdana Oruntaev.
Ilkhom Nematov, Deputy Secretary General of the CIS, positively assessed the achievements and development of Kyrgyzstan's construction sector, noting the country's active participation in the implementation of joint initiatives and the introduction of innovations in construction policy.
