The parties agreed on directions for joint work in the field of technology and industry
On October 24, the second meeting of the ministers of industry, science, technology, and innovation of the CIS countries took place in Baku. As part of this event, a bilateral meeting was held between the Minister of Economy and Commerce of the Kyrgyz Republic, Bakyt Sydykov, and the Minister of Industry and Technology of Turkey, Mehmet Cahit Turhan.
The Ministry of Economy of Kyrgyzstan reported that the participants of the meeting emphasized the importance of fulfilling previously reached agreements regarding the development of trade and economic relations between the two countries. Special attention was paid to issues of cooperation in the industrial sector. The parties also discussed plans for the establishment of technoparks and industrial zones in Kyrgyzstan, drawing on Turkey's rich experience in this area.
