According to Starkov, this exercise will continue the practice of joint response to biological threats in the interests of the collective peacekeeping forces of the CSTO. He noted this in an interview with the Ministry of Defense's television company "VoenTV".
Starkov also reminded about the "Barrier-2025" exercise, which took place at the Fakhrobod training ground in Tajikistan in 2025, where a unit from the eighth brigade of the radiation, chemical, and biological protection of the armed forces of Belarus participated. During this exercise, the radiation, chemical, and biological protection specialists worked closely with medical services, performing tasks to eliminate biological threats, including special processing and elimination of contamination sites.
From October 14 to 19, the CSTO countries conducted joint exercises with peacekeeping forces, including "Unbreakable Brotherhood-2025" and a special exercise with the radiation, chemical, and biological protection and medical support formation "Barrier-2025" in Tajikistan.
