During the night of October 29, Russian air defense successfully intercepted 100 Ukrainian drones, as reported by the country's Ministry of Defense.

Of all the drones shot down, 46 were destroyed over the Bryansk region, 12 over Kaluga, eight over Belgorod, seven over Krasnodar Krai, six over the Moscow region and Oryol region, four over Ulyanovsk region, three over Crimea and the Mari El Republic, two over Stavropol Krai, and one over Kursk, Smolensk, and Tula regions.

Rosaviation reported that the operations of airports in Saratov, Gelendzhik, Penza, Vladikavkaz, Grozny, Samara, Krasnodar, Ulyanovsk, Kazan, and Cheboksary were suspended during the evening and nighttime hours, as well as in Moscow airports Sheremetyevo, Zhukovsky, and Domodedovo.

The Governor of Stavropol Krai, Vladimir Vladimirov, noted that drones attempted to strike the industrial zone of Budyonnovsk. According to him, the attack was successfully repelled by air defense forces, and there was "no significant damage."

"We managed to avoid casualties and destruction. Emergency services are working at the site of the drone crashes," the governor added.

According to the Telegram channel Astra, the oil and chemical plant "Stavrolen," known for producing polyethylene and polypropylene, was likely attacked in Budyonnovsk. Local residents reported explosions and fires in the vicinity of the plant.
