North Korea conducted tests of strategic sea-based cruise missiles

The launch, which involved representatives of the party and military leadership, demonstrated the new capabilities of the missiles. The missiles, launched vertically and adapted for sea launch, flew along a designated trajectory over the West Sea (as it is called in North Korea, referring to the Yellow Sea) for more than 7800 seconds, successfully hitting the target. This means that the missile was in flight for over two hours, assuming there was no error in the data.

Pak Jong Chon, Deputy Chairman of the Central Military Commission of the Workers' Party of Korea and Secretary of the Central Committee, emphasized the "achievements in enhancing the practicality of the country's nuclear armed forces."

It is worth noting that previous tests in North Korea took place on October 22, when two new hypersonic aircraft were successfully launched.
