At a meeting held by Vladimir Putin at one of the command points of the united group of troops, Chief of the General Staff Valery Gerasimov was also present. The president's press secretary Dmitry Peskov reported that Putin emphasized the high level of readiness of Russia's nuclear forces on the global stage.

According to TASS agency data, the results of the "Burevestnik" missile tests, capable of covering unlimited distances, were discussed. Gerasimov reported that during the tests conducted on October 21, the missile flew about 14,000 kilometers, remaining in the air for approximately 15 hours.

The President of Russia instructed to explore possible options for the use of the "Burevestnik" and to begin preparatory work on creating the necessary infrastructure for its integration into the armed forces. Experts note that the development of this missile raises international concerns due to its potential ability to reach global targets.

These statements came against the backdrop of unsuccessful attempts to organize a meeting between Putin and U.S. President Donald Trump and new American sanctions against the Russian oil industry.
