The Minister of Labor, Social Security, and Migration, Kanat Sagynbaev, conducted a monitoring visit to the social stationary institution for the elderly in Sulyukta, aimed at studying the conditions in which service recipients live, as well as analyzing the needs of the institution for the autumn-winter period of 2025–2026. This was reported by the ministry's press service.
Currently, 14 people reside in the institution, and the director of the organization emphasized the need for updating and modernizing the buildings to improve safety and comfort for the residents.
Kanat Sagynbaev noted that the work to improve the quality of social services should be systematic and consistent, and it is also important to create a comfortable, warm, and safe atmosphere for citizens under state care.
The minister's department oversees 17 such social institutions. According to the data, four of them use coal for heating, three operate in a combined mode (coal and electricity), while nine are heated exclusively by electricity. The autumn-winter period in these institutions proceeds steadily and without disruptions.
To ensure warmth in 2025–2026, 1708.2 tons of coal were prepared, and to date, 621.4 tons remain. All social stationary institutions have sufficient fuel reserves to maintain a comfortable temperature.
