In the Talas region, 71 low-income families received certificates under the 'Social Contract' program

The initiative provides an opportunity for people receiving assistance to become individual entrepreneurs.

On March 5, a ceremony was held in the Manas and Bakai-Ata districts for the presentation of certificates as part of the 'Social Contract' project. This was reported by the Ministry of Labor.

On this day, 71 low-income families, including 31 from the Manas district and 40 from the Bakai-Ata district of the Talas region, received certificates worth 150,000 soms. These funds are allocated under a government program designed to support low-income individuals in implementing their business ideas.

The event was attended by deputies of the Jogorku Kenesh, including Medina Kairylbekova, as well as the First Deputy Minister of Labor, Social Protection, and Migration Kamchybek Dosmatov and representatives of the local administration.

This year, the project plans to cover 682 low-income families in the Talas region, which will positively impact the social climate of the region.

Kamchybek Dosmatov noted: "The project helps to transition needy citizens from the category of social assistance recipients to the category of individual entrepreneurs, which not only provides income for their families but also creates new jobs.

Thus, it contributes to the development of the regions and the implementation of the National Development Strategy of the Kyrgyz Republic," he added.

According to the Ministry of Labor, over 94.2% of participants in the 'Social Contract' program are women, primarily living in rural areas. In this regard, the First Deputy Minister congratulated all women on the upcoming International Women's Day.
