At the round table held at the Ministry of Education, representatives of the agency, as well as Deputy Minister Lyra Samykbaeva, discussed the problem of internet aggression among the youth of Kyrgyzstan. According to the data provided, nearly 50% of young people in the country have become victims of online aggression over the past year, which has become a routine part of life for some of them.

During the event, a report by the public fund "Taalim-Forum" was presented, based on research conducted in 2025. The study involved 2,096 respondents aged 12 to 25 from 128 educational institutions in 7 regions, as well as in the cities of Bishkek and Osh.

The research also highlighted the connection between bullying in real life and internet aggression, emphasizing that conflicts arising in schools continue in the digital space, negatively affecting the psycho-emotional state of young people.

During the discussions, recommendations were developed aimed at creating a safe digital environment in educational institutions. These recommendations include the need to refine the legislative framework, clearly define the term "cyberbullying," and develop a national strategy for protecting children online. Additionally, the importance of fostering digital culture, implementing programs on digital ethics, training teachers and psychologists on safe internet behavior, and enhancing psychological support for students was raised.

It was noted that successful reduction of cyberbullying cases requires the combined efforts of schools, families, and digital platforms. Currently, the public fund "Taalim-Forum" is working on creating a practical guide for teachers to help recognize, prevent, and respond to cases of cyberbullying among adolescents.
