During her speech, Deputy of the Jogorku Kenesh Saltanat Amanova emphasized the existing problems faced by ethnic Kyrgyz in the Jalal-Abad region when obtaining the status of returnees.
She pointed out that many people encounter refusals in processing the necessary documents, which, in turn, complicates the enrollment of their children in educational institutions such as kindergartens and schools. The deputy also noted that similar problems are observed in the Jayil and Panfilov districts, where staff exhibit rudeness and refuse to grant the status.
In this regard, Amanova proposed to establish a special commission that would conduct a detailed study of this situation and develop solutions, involving district heads and responsible specialists.
