A program is launching in Kyrgyzstan to replace outdated bus stops with modern ones. The Ministry of Transport reports that a significant portion of the stops in the country no longer meet modern requirements and are in poor condition. Many of them were built during the Soviet era. Due to their significant wear and tear, they cannot guarantee safety and comfort for citizens.

In response to this issue, a phased update of the stops will begin, covering the entire territory of the republic.

As specified by the ministry, the development of new designs and their layout is being handled by the "Production and Innovation Center" under the ministry.

Minister Talant Soltobaev personally checked the process of manufacturing new stops and familiarized himself with the ongoing work on-site.

The updated stops will meet high quality standards and provide convenience for residents. It is expected that the first new facilities will be put into operation soon.
