World Championship (U-20) in Bishkek: Umar Egemberdiyev Leads the Scoring Race

In the youth hockey team of Kyrgyzstan (U-20), forward Umar Egemberdiev became the top scorer at the World Championship.

These days, a tournament among third division teams (Group B) is taking place in Bishkek, featuring six teams.

The Kyrgyzstan team has won two matches, defeating Hong Kong and South Africa with an aggregate score of 11:3.

Egemberdiev, representing the "Uchur" club from Bishkek, scored three goals against Hong Kong and added two more in the game against South Africa.

Thus, he currently has 5 goals and is in first place on the tournament's top scorers list.

Additionally, 8 players managed to score two goals each, among whom Alihan Ali-Askarov and Egor Leshchenko from Kyrgyzstan stand out.

Also, 23 hockey players have marked one goal, including two Kyrgyzstani players — Taiyr Supokhunov and Bayaman Zholdoshbekov.
